Back from the death

A dark tunnel leading to infinity

In quest for a ray of light

The ears longing for a whisper

Somewhere in an another dimension

An echo calling out my name

I stretched my hands to touch something

The pat of the air and the thud of my heartbeat

Playing a mysterious music

A visionless and soundless path

An unknown contact - faraway echoing

The clueless me still traveling through the tunnel

Neither knowing where I’m being led to nor

Understanding what’s happening to me

….

The loud sound of a siren awakened me

There, I lay in a bed of blood

A sharp pain wrecking every cell in my body

Off I go

….

Someone is calling out my name

This time, it’s not an echo

Slowly I regain my vision and I see some faces

Here, I lay in a hospital bed

With ample of wires tied to my body

The faces smile at me saying, “You are fine”.

Back from a tunnel that led me to death

A ray of light that bought me back to life

The power to fight back and never give up

Is all that gave back a beautiful life
