Leadership Styles with an Impact

Being the boss or the leader isn’t just telling people what to do by delegating tasks. Instead leaders motivate people to work towards a specific goal. You don’t have to be a born leader to make an impact rather these styles can be learned. When you have the drive and desire anything is possible!

These people in our lives that inspire us don’t need the title of manager or supervisor to make a difference. Think of someone that just believed in you and gave you a chance. Many of these leaders that we look up to encompass common traits, such as honesty, confidence, courage, and determination.

The combination of a charismatic and transformational leader is power packed! The charismatic leader inspires people to work hard while having a positive emotional impact. Transformational leadership inspires people to believe in their own potential.

Think of a someone that is cheering you on and encouraging you to imagine a a better future for you and those around you.

These are the types of leaders we will remember years from now.

There is reason we have one mouth and two ears. Pay attention, put down your phone, and stop multi-tasking. Listen to what the other person has to say maybe we can learn something new or broaden our perspective.

2. Don’t attack the person rather focus on the problem or specific behavior.

You might not agree with the person’s ideas, but be respectful. Try to focus on the behavior or problem at hand rather than directly attacking the person. Remember everyone is human.

3. Ask for feedback.

See that you understood the message by repeating it back to them and if not ask for clarifications.
