Change the color of a Material icon in Android

Sometimes even easy things become tricky to solve, here is one of them, changing the color of the material design icons.

Follow below simple steps to change the color of your material icon, it’s super easy.

step-1 : download .svg file as shown in below image

step-2: import the downloaded .svg file into your Android studio project
go to drawable > new > Vector Asset

now select the option to import .svg from local directory as shown below

click next and it will create a .xml file in your project.
Now, you can change the color from that .xml file.

That’s it, now your icon’s color is changed :)
